PETAL, MS (WDAM) - A charity ride was held on Saturday to help a high school senior.
Several family members, friends and residents rode their motorcycles and gathered at Petal High School to help Samantha Madden.
Samantha suffered multiple injuries in a car accident August 3 and as a result is now paralyzed from the waist down.
On Saturday several took the time out to help her and her family out with any medical expenses.
"We're just so grateful for everybody that's came out today and just hoping that we just are able to give the family just some assistance," said coordinator, Rebecca Owens.
Petal High School ROTC, Christian Motorcycle Association along with two gospel groups and many more also helped out in the charity event.
