MANCHESTER, CT (WFSB) -

The East Central Narcotics Task Force arrested three people Thursday involved in selling heroin in Manchester.

Police said 27-year-old Amanda Dery and 30-year-old Carlos Rivera-Gonzalez, both of Manchester, were selling heroin in the area of Roosevelt Street.

Officers staged a buy Thursday afternoon and took both into custody without incident. Police also arrested 28-year-old Geraldo Fernandez of East Hartford during the incident.

All three suspects were charged with possession and sale of heroin. Rivera-Gonzalez and Dery were also served with two arrest warrants each for previous sale and possession of heroin.

Police seized more than 40 bags of heroin and more than $225 in cash, along with a vehicle, during the bust.
