Laurel Housing Authorities builds new homes

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Laurel Housing Authority dreams to build news homes are in the process of coming true.

Laurel Housing Authority received 12.5 million dollars from the Department of Housing and Urban Development to build 130 new units.

The project will be built in two phases. A hundred of the homes will be two bedrooms, two baths and the other 30 will be three bedrooms, two baths.

The first phase of the project is scheduled to be complete at the end of this year.
