Before their August 29th matchup against the East Mississippi Lions, PRCC Wildcats head coach William Jones and his team participated in their first scrimmage this morning and early afternoon with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd string teams.

Play was sloppy at times, but coach Jones attributes that to his players adjusting to game speed.

Still, even with the mistakes the man in charge was pleased by his team's effort.

"Well I think like anything they had some good moments and some moments where we've got to get a little bit better. I think on both sides and our special teams you knew there are things that are very, very positive."

Pearl River opens the season against the 8th ranked Lions at home.
