WDAM Viewpoint- Welcome back

Posted: Updated:

Hello, I am Joe Sciortino, Vice President and General Manager of WDAM.

Many of you were affected by the recent disruption of our signal on the DISH Network. As you know by now, we are back on the DISH system.

We know this has been an inconvenience for you and your family. We want to thank you for your patience and above all your loyalty.

Many of you called and emailed us. Others posted comments on our Facebook page. We had the pleasure of speaking or corresponding with many of you. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us and express your support and concerns.

WDAM has served this community for over 57 years and our commitment to you is stronger than ever.

We take great pride in being your source for entertainment, local news, sports and weather in the Pine Belt.

From the staff here at WDAM thank you so much for your patience.

I am Joe Sciortino and this is today's Viewpoint.

If you would like to send me a comment email me at jsciortino@wdam.com
