HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

The final suspect wanted for murder in the Hattiesburg shooting death of 26-year-old Robert Franklin Williams is behind bars after he was arrested at a residence in Laurel just before 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Acting on a Crimestoppers tip, agents from the U.S. Marshals, Laurel and Hattiesburg police, and Jones County deputies arrested Daylon Carl Waldrop, 19.

The suspect was transported to the Hattiesburg police department for questioning. Officials said he offered no resistance. Two of the suspects, David Fairley, 22, and Derrick Lamont Bolton, 19, turned themselves in to authorities on Tuesday and have been charged with murder.

The three are suspected of involvement in a murder at West 7th street where someone shot Williams during an exchange of gunfire following what witnesses said was a home invasion. Williams later died at a Hattiesburg hospital.
