PD: Car slams into Tempe home

TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -

The driver of a car that slammed into a Tempe home Friday night is now being treated at the hospital.

Police said the driver struck a home in the 2400 block of South Stanley about 4:50 p.m. Friday.

There was damage to the property, but no one was inside the home.

Police said they don't know at this time if the driver had a medical emergency or was impaired at the time of the crash.

The extent of the injuries are unknown.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop will open on Wednesday 11 a.m. at the District at Midtown in Hattiesburg.  Franchise owner Trey Ziegler said it’s the first of its kind in the state.
