GOODYEAR, AZ (CBS5) -

A woman has been sentenced to 22 years in prison in a fatal drive-by shooting outside a bar in Goodyear.

Breanna Lopez pleaded guilty Wednesday to second-degree murder and drive-by shooting.

Her husband Daniel Lopez pleaded guilty to the same charges and is scheduled to be sentenced on March 27.

Police responded to a call of shots fired on July 26, 2013 and found a crashed vehicle.

David Carrillo, 21, died from his injuries suffered in the July 26, 2013 shooting in Avondale.

Goodyear police spokesperson Lisa Kurtis said Carrillo and another man got into a fight with three other men, and a woman at Game Time bar near McDowell and Dysart.

Kurtis said Carrillo and another man left the bar, and were followed by the four individuals.

Shots were fired by the four individuals which critically injured Carrillo. The car he was driving crashed, injuring his passenger, said Kurtis.

The four suspects who fired the shots left the scene, but a witness pointed police in their direction. They were stopped and a weapon was found in their vehicle, said Kurtis.

Kutis said police arrested 25-year-old Daniel Lopez of Avondale, along with his wife, 25-year-old Breanna Lopez. Both are charges with first degree murder and drive by shooting.
