Southern Miss football head coach Todd Monken hosted his golf outing tournament today at the Hattiesburg Country Club.

Fans and supporters of the program participated while Monken drove around in his golf cart to introduce himself and mingle with the golfers.

One of the most challenging specialty holes on the course was the par 4 16th, sponsored by Hooters.

The goal was for golfers to hit the ball off a tee that was floating in a kiddie pool.

All-in-all coach Monken's goal was to make sure everyone had a good time.

"Just making sure that things are running smoothly and that they're having a good time. That's what we're supposed to do to make sure that they're having a great time out here and that they'll remember this," Monken said at the 16th tee box.

"They're a big part of it. Most of the people out here have been USM supporters for years."
