Jones County authorities say deputies arrested a burglary suspect – after they were notified an employee of Laurel Recycling was holding the suspect at gunpoint.
Authorities allege Michael Nelson Hicks entered the business by prying open an exterior door. Authorities add the employee lives on Laurel Recycling's property -- and heard the alarm go off. The employee then entered the building with a gun in hand – and held Hicks at gunpoint until the deputies arrived.
Hicks has been charged with commercial burglary. A judge set bond at $10,000.
