Truck drives wrong way down I-30, collides with 18-wheeler

TITUS COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

Three fire departments responded to the scene of a head-on collision late Monday night after a truck driving down the wrong side of the interstate collided with an 18-wheeler.

The Mount Pleasant Fire Department said the crash happened at around 11 p.m. on Interstate 30 between mile markers 152 and 153 in Titus County. Firefighters say it appears the truck was driving down the wrong side of the interstate when it collided with an 18-wheeler head on.

According to the Department of Public Safety in Garland, the driver of the truck traveling the wrong way is in critical condition at Titus County Memorial Hospital.
