Woman kicked out of water park because of swimsuit

INDEPENDENCE, MO (KCTV) -

A local woman is now getting national attention for getting kicked out of a water park because of her swimsuit.

"I quickly became indignant," Madelyn Sheaffer said.

Sheaffer's latest national interview was with Inside Edition. It came after she was kicked out of Adventure Oasis Water Park in Independence, MO, earlier in the week.

She said management told her her bikini was too small.

Sheaffer said she recently lost 100 pounds and enjoys showing off her hard work.

"I feel I have every right to wear a swimming suit to a park as anyone else does," she said.

The 43-year-old said she was given the option to cover up, but instead decided to leave.
