Suspect arrested in shooting near train tracks

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A driver was waiting for a train to pass earlier this month when a person pulled up and fired a shot.

The incident occurred June 14.

The victim said he was waiting in his car at the Delmas Avenue for a train to pass. Suddenly a person with a gun rolled up and fired shot.

The victim managed to turn around and drive away from the scene.

After an eight-day investigation, Jeremy Gordan was arrested in connection with the shooting.

Gordan's been charged with attempted criminal homicide.

Police said Gordan was with a woman when he fired the shot. Officers said the woman helped police arrest Gordan.
