A serial burglar admitted to stealing more than $100,000 worth of expensive equipment Saturday from his former employer.
Police said William Robert Conners is facing about six charges after he went on a robbery spree with his 18-month-old.
Officers said they were checking on a business, Buzzi Unicem on Cement Plant Road in Germantown, on Saturday after it was robbed a few days before.
During the patrol, police said they spotted a red pickup truck in the parking lot.
The truck matched the description of the burglar's vehicle from a previous break-in.
Police said they spotted Conners loading some items in the back of his truck and driving away.
Officers pulled him over and found copper wiring, bolts, latches and motors. They also found his 18-month-old son strapped into his car seat in the back of Conner's truck.
Conners used to work at the business and still had a key, which he used to gain access to the building. He's also charged with driving under the influence.
