Driver found with cocaine, 4-year-old inside car

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A driver in Nashville is facing charges after he was pulled over with drugs, alcohol and a 4-year-old inside his vehicle.

When Rodney E. McGhee was stopped by police Thursday on Jefferson Street, officers said he had cocaine and an open can of beer inside his car.

Once police pulled over McGhee, officers said he first handed over an half-empty can of Bud Light Lime-A-Rita. Then, the officer said he saw a little girl inside the car not wearing a seat belt.

Police said they also found more than $500 cash and a baggie of cocaine.

McGhee admitted to selling drugs but said he does it to support his family, according to police.
