WDAM Viewpoint- Vote Tuesday

Just a last minute reminder.  If you live within the city limits of a municipality in Mississippi most likely you need to vote in tomorrow's general election for mayor, council members, and other city offices.  The party primaries and run-offs have been held and now the bid for all the marbles is here.  As you have heard us say before…your local elections often affect your daily life more than even state-wide or national elections.  So whether you live in Laurel, Hattiesburg, Columbia, Waynesboro, Collins  or any of the other incorporated areas be sure and do your civic duty and go to the polls tomorrow.  Now I know I left some towns out…these are just examples of the type election being held for those of you new to the area, or voting for the first time—no slight intended to any of the other fine towns and cities in our state.  Tuesday, June 4 is Election Day so please…take the time and make the effort to vote for the candidates of your choice in these municipal elections.

I'm Jim Cameron.  Write and let us know what's on your mind.
