(RNN) - Looking for a new exercise program? Well, put on your Sunday's best, grab your ankle weights, and get ready to prance yourself into shape!

Joanna Rohrback invented a revolutionary workout called Prancercise in 1989 and it's just now catching people's attention on the internet.

Rohrback describes this entertaining exercise program as "a springy, rhythmic way of moving forward, similar to a horse's gait and is ideally induced by elation."

In the video, Rohrback shows four forms of Prancercise (the gallop is my personal favorite) so you can switch up the routine, or as she says it, "cut the noose and let it loose."

She has also written a book that is called, Prancercise: The Art of Physical and Spiritual Excellence.

The description reads: "To be really fit we need to consider more than just ourselves; we need to also consider the conservation of the environment (as through vegetarianism), and non-violence, through our thought process and behavior. This book is a true literary resource well researched and documented, not just propaganda. It's a recipe for fitness, health, and self-fulfillment!"

One customer said the book finally let them experience their "inner-horse."

"I was like a child again, prancing through the woods. At one point, I was convinced I had four legs. A smile radiated from my face. I punched the sky, knowing that I was free," Sleigh wrote. "Call me Prancer, for I walk my path with joy."

The website she created dedicated to the art of Prancercise seems to be down due to the craze of wanting to master this prantastic exercise.
