34-year-old man shot in shoulder after fight

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A fight early Friday morning ended in a man getting shot, said police.

Investigators said two groups of people were fighting in front of a house on Grover Street when two people pulled out guns and started shooting.

A 34-year-old man was shot in the shoulder around 1:20 a.m.

The injured man was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center but is expected to survive his injuries.

Police are searching the area for the shooters.

    Some Hattiesburg residents are without water after a water line was cut Tuesday evening.  The City of Hattiesburg posted the notice on Facebook for residents at the intersection of Elks Lake Road and US Highway 49.
