Rachel Beech graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Spanish.

"I have always been passionate about what is going on in other parts of the world, and I realize the importance of conveying that message to others," Beech said.

"I also see great value in helping others find justice in different situations; however, I aim to use reporting as a justice-seeking missile."

Rachel was awarded "Best Opinion/Editorial Writer" as well as "Best Digital Multimedia Journalist" before being chosen as a recipient for Who's Who of American Colleges and Universities at Southern Miss her senior year.

She is the sister of Chelsea Anne Beech and Michael Toth and the daughter of Lisa and Larry Beech.
