HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Hattiesburg police are searching for three suspects who broke into the Hattiesburg Zoo and stole a large amount of candy.

On April 20 around 10 p.m., three black males, cut through a lock on the gate, went to the concession stand, and broke a window to get inside. They stole a large amount of candy, but no money, said Hattiesburg police, and then they fled the scene.

Two are suspected to be juveniles, and a third may be an adult, said police.

Authorities said this was the second break-in to that concession stand in a month.

Hattiesburg Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information - call 601-586-7867.
