Woman makes repeated calls to 911, says dispatcher was 'rude'

MURFREESBORO, TN (WSMV) -

Police in Murfreesboro said a woman harassed a 911 dispatcher by calling the emergency line repeatedly.

The woman who made the calls told police she kept dialing 911 on purpose because the dispatcher was "rude" to her on the phone.

Police said the woman called six times over two days, interrupting the emergency line.

The caller said she did not have an emergency but wanted to get her point across.

Police warned the woman to stop calling 911 for nonemergency reasons or she would be arrested.
