PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A small Phoenix home caught fire Sunday afternoon, displacing the owner and nearly two dozens dogs, fire officials said.

A dozen firefighters pulled up to the burning home near 12th Street and Apache at about 2:20 p.m.

The owner of the home was not injured and the dogs were all OK, said Phoenix Fire Department Capt. Mark Gonzales.

Gonzales said one of the immediate challenges is getting the dogs the care they need.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
