HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

It was definitely a day of excitement as many Pine Belt residents were able to meet and greet a Disney actor.

Former Petal resident, Dylan Snyder, stopped by the Petal Children's Taskforce on Saturday to help with a fundraiser, but also to give autographs and take pictures with many fans.

“When I left Petal I left to go to New York to start acting and kind of branch out a little bit,” said Dylan. “Luckily, I managed to get an agent and a job.”

Dylan plays Milton on Disney XD television series, Kickin' It, which is now on its third season.

Only in town for the weekend, Dylan will be leaving to go back to filming on Monday.

Aside from giving autographs and visiting friends and family, Dylan will also be attending his first prom at Petal High School.
