The following is a news release from the Lamar County Library System:

Lamar County Library System will be celebrating National Library Week with a "Design Your Own Bookmark" contest. This will be open to all patrons under the age of 18. Come by your local library (Oak Grove Public Library, Purvis Public Library, Lumberton Public Library, Sumrall Public Library) and pick up the bookmark between April 15-19. Each library will have a winner.

All entries are due by 6 p.m. on April 19. The winning bookmark will be published and distributed to the public.  A winner's reception will be held at each library to announce the winning bookmark.

The winner's reception at the OGPL will be on April 30 at 6 p.m.  We will have light snacks and the winner will be announced/presented with their award.
