HUBFEST packs the streets of Downtown Hattiesburg

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Downtown Hattiesburg was definitely packed on Saturday.

Hundreds of residents and vendors enjoyed a day out shopping and basking in the sun during HUBFEST.

The 29th Annual event had four stages of live music featuring various artists and bands, as well as had more than 200 arts, crafts, and food booths.

While Hattiesburg has experience cold and rainy weather, it was definitely a great day for HUBFEST.

"The weather is cooperating greatly and I'm really enjoying it right now, it's just beautiful, it's perfect," said vendor, Roderick Dixon.

"I've been trying to get here for a couple of years and just was finally able to, and it's great," said vendor, Andrea St. Germain.

"I love it, I want to come again," said attendee, Earl Burnette.

At least 10,000 people were expected to attend the event.
