Takes place at the following Hattiesburg-area restaurants on the listed dates from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Fifteen percent of each day's lunch sales benefit Hattiesburg Habitat for Humanity unless otherwise noted. For more details, call 601-582-4663.

April 8: Floyd's Grill (located at Lowe's on Hwy. 98; Lowe's is also hosting a tool drive this day)

April 12: Glory Bound Gyro Co. (all day with live music starting at 7:00 p.m.)

    On July 10, 2017, 16 servicemen were killed when a KC-130 crashed in a soybean field in Leflore County.  The plane flew out of Cherry Point, North Carolina on its way to deliver personnel and equipment to the Naval Air Field El Centro, California when it went down in Mississippi.  15 U.S. Marines and one Navy Corpsman were killed.
