ASU building evacuated after reports of sulfur smell

TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -

Fire officials evacuated an Arizona State University building on Wednesday night after reports of a strong sulfur smell.

The building is in the 500 block of East Tyler Mall on campus.

Firefighters from the Tempe Fire Department took readings in the building and found nothing.

Fire officials said they'll remain on scene to finish readings.

    The Mississippi Military Department, the Nature Conservancy and several state and federal agencies have teamed up to boost the numbers of endangered gopher tortoises at Camp Shelby and the DeSoto National Forest.
