SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

A 2-year-old child is expected to be OK after she was pulled from a pool at a Scottsdale hotel over the noon hour Tuesday.

A family was on vacation with their 2-year-old triplet girls at the Hyatt Regency at 7500 E. Doubletree Ranch Rd., according to Scottsdale Fire Department spokesman Dave Folio.

The family had lost track of one of the girls when her father saw her face down in the sandy area of the pool, Folio said.

Fire crews arrived and began administering CPR.

The child was conscious and crying and taken to Phoenix Children's Hospital for further evaluation.
