POPLARVILLE, MS (WLOX) -

The suspects accused of robbing a Kangaroo gas station in Poplarville Sunday were arrested by Bogalusa, LA authorities Monday for separate charges.

Poplarville Police Chief Charlie Fazende said gas station surveillance video shows both Samantha Brumfield, 27, and her husband Joshua Pokasy, 30, both of South Spoon Ranch Road in Poplarville.

According to police, surveillance video first shows Pokasy walking into the gas station then leaving.

Next the video reportedly shows Brumfield walking in and grabbing a 5-hour ENERGY shot and setting it on the counter.

Once the cashier starts scanning the item, police said, Brumfield pulled out a small frame revolver and demanded the cashier hand her money.

The cashier complied and Brumfield fled the scene leaving the 5-hour ENERGY shot on the counter.

Numerous tips called into the Poplarville police department brought investigators to Bogalusa where they were able to find the suspects who were already behind bars in Bogalusa.

Currently both suspects are awaiting extradition.

Fazende said when they are brought back to Poplarville the suspects will each be charged with armed robbery and will be held at the Pearl River County Criminal Justice Center.

"The gas station cashier positively identified Samantha Brumfield through a photo line-up," Fazende said.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Poplarville police are actively investigating this incident. If you have any information please call the Poplarville Police Department at 601-795-4447 or the Pearl River County Crimestopper at 601-749-4583.
