CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

A police report says Reid Flair was incapacitated due to drugs when he was found dead in a South Charlotte hotel last week.

The medical examiner's office has not listed an official cause of death, but police sources say there were signs of drug activity in the hotel room.

On Monday, investigators released the 911 calls that were placed to emergency crews after the body of Ric Flair's son was found in a Charlotte hotel last week.

Officers were called to the hotel, along the 6000 block of Piedmont Row Drive South, on Friday morning around 10:35 a.m.

In the calls, 911 operators can be overheard talking to hotel staff at the Marriott Residence's Inn, who were asked to call 911. The calls were then transferred to a room inside the hotel.

On the call, wrestling legend Ric Flair, whose legal name is Richard Fliehr, can be heard screaming "He's out cold.  He's out cold and he's turning purple! Please!"

The frantic Fliehr was referring to his 25-year-old son, Reid Fliehr. Sources close to the investigation told WBTV that younger Fliehr's body was discovered in the hotel bed by a family member.

Fliehr then hangs up during the call and a police dispatcher can be heard telling a medic dispatcher that "the only thing he said to me before I transferred was that his son was dying, he's turning purple."

That was the second call made to 911 in this case. In a previous call, that occurred just seconds before, 911 was transferred to Fliehr's room and had to leave a message after no one answered.

Detectives have determined that there does not appear to be foul play involved in the incident and say the official cause of death will determined by the Medical Examiner's office.

A source told WBTV that investigators are looking into the possibility that Reid Fliehr may have died from a drug overdose.

"Today is a very tough day for me and my family," Richard Fliehr told WBTV on Friday night.

Reid Fliehr was also a wrestler, like his father, and was currently Wrestling for All Japan Pro-Wrestling in Japan, according to his Twitter account.

Both men wrestle under the last name of "Flair."

Reid's last tweet was posted at 2:49 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.

"Two shows in Maryland this weekend with @RicFlairNatrBoy. Good #wrestling and even better times ahead," he tweeted.

Earlier on Thursday, Fliehr had tweeted that he was "living the dream" when asked if he liked being in Japan.

"I loved my son very much," Richard Fliehr said.

Funeral arrangements were released on Monday afternoon by Fliehr's talent agency.

Reid Fliehr's funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 3 at Forest Hill Church, at 7224 Park Road in Charlotte.

WBTV has learned the funeral will be open to family and friends who wish to pay their respects.  The burial, following the ceremony, will be private for family members only.

Condolences, flowers and memorial donations can be sent to Ric Flair c/o Legacy Talent and Entertainment, LLC, 1300 Baxter Street, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28204.

All Memorial Donations will be given to PAL (Police Athletic League) in Reid's name.

"On behalf of Ric and his family, thank you for your love, concern, and support this week," the statement read. "Despite the circumstances, we look forward to seeing friends and family Wednesday to celebrate Reid's life."
