GEORGE COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

Three people were arrested Thursday evening in connection with the murder of a George County man.

Joshua Gautier, 23, was found dead last week in a remote area of the county locals call "the pipelines."

Sheriff Dean Howell said two of the suspects were arrested in George County and one was found in Greene County. All were brought in without incident.

No motive has been released for the murder at this time, and the names of the suspects are not being released. All three are being held at George County Regional Jail pending an initial court appearance.

The arrests were a joint effort by the George County Sheriff's Office, the FBI Safe Streets task Force, the Greene County Sheriff's Office, and the Jackson County K9 Unit.
