Fmr. Hattiesburg resident turned director makes movie in the Hub City
It's light, camera, ACTION as Hattiesburg goes Hollywood.
Former Hattiesburg resident turned filmmaker, Patrik-Ian Polk, is filming an independent project called 'Blackbird' in the Hub City. The production will be filming for the next couple of weeks and will need extras for some scenes.
Polk said anyone wanting information on being an extra could go to the movie's Facebook page, Blackbird Movie.
Some of the film's locations include The Cultural Center, St. Paul's Methodist Church, and the Boom Boom Room.
Polk would not confirm but there are rumors that some big named stars are attached to this film. So, if you become an extra, you might rub shoulders with some Hollywood idols.
