Student collects 400 Band-Aid boxes for hospital

LAMAR COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

Oak Grove High senior Olivia Sanguinetti has never had cancer, but was inspired by the trials a friend went through battling cancer. So, she decided to do something that would benefit Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital in Jackson; in honor of her friend. Olivia knew how much small acts of kindness, like having a colorful Band-Aid, could impact a sick child, and decided that she would collect Band-Aid for the hospital.

Currently, Olivia has collected over 400 boxes from the community.
