MESA, AZ (CBS5) -

Smoke could be seen for miles after flames started shooting out of a Mesa home early Sunday afternoon.

At least 45 firefighters were called to the home on East 10th Place to bring it under control.

They had to fight the blaze defensively because it was so intense.

Firefighters said the home is a complete loss.

No one was hurt.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
