PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A Phoenix man with a criminal past is back in police custody for allegedly having child porn at his home and for failing to register as a sex offender.

Phoenix Police Department Sgt. Steve Martos said detectives served a search warrant at the home of 30-year-old Forrest Brandon Stocks on Friday. Martos said they found numerous images of children engaging in sex acts at his home near 3700 N. 11th St.

Martos said the investigation began in December 2012 and then detectives learned Stocks was a convicted sex offender.

He was booked on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of failing to register as a sex offender.

During the interview with detectives, Stocks admitted to being in counseling for being attracted to children, according to Martos.
