HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Motorists in Forrest County will be a little inconvenienced over the next few weeks as several large bridges get a much-needed makeover.

In just a few days, workers will begin sandblasting and re-painting five different county bridges. It will be done over a two-month period.

Traffic will be re-routed around the work.

Forrest County Supervisors say the Glendale Ave. and Sims Road bridges will be the first to get a new coat of paint.

Next in line will be bridges on Carterville Road, Churchwell Road and Brown's Bridge Road.
