Fourth FestivalSouth to be held June 8-22

Blues, country and classical musicians from around the world will gather in Hattiesburg for two weeks in June for FestvalSouth, Mississippi's only multi-genre arts festival.

It's the fourth year for the event, which runs from June 8-22.

During that period, more than 50 performances will take place at various coffee shops, bookstores, eateries, churches and other venues in the Hub City.

This year's highlights include an opening night performance by The Blues Brotherhood, a limited engagement production of the musical 'Hairspray' at the Saenger Theater and a special concert featuring famed Nashville songwriter and Hattiesburg native Craig Wiseman.
