Petal Primary Kindergarten Round Up, April 11

The following is a news release from the Petal School District:

Petal Primary School will hold a Kindergarten Round Up on April 11 from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. at the school located at 60 Herrington Rd. Children who will be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1 2013, entering Kindergarten in August for the first time, can pre-register.

Parents should bring their child to the Round Up to be screened in order to complete the pre-registration process.

The child's social security number is required at the Round Up.

    Following a school-record 55 wins and run that ended in an 8-7 loss in the NJCAA national championship, Jones County Junior College softball is eager to open the 2018 season on February 3. Coming that close to the school’s first national title serves as motivation enough for the Lady Bobcats. Regardless, expectations are always high for coach Chris Robinson’s teams – JCJC is a combined 105-12 the last two seasons.
