BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Biloxi Police officials say Saturday around 2 AM they responded to a car accident near Highway 90 and Reynoir Street where they found a white male in his 70's lying on the ground. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Officials say the other vehicle left the scene of the accident. Later, officers located the suspect vehicle on I-10 westbound near mile marker 41.

After a thorough investigation, the driver, 32-year-old Gulfport resident Shumarcus Taiwain Henderson, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving a death.

His wife, 29-year-old Gulfport resident Angela Marie Henderson, who was also a passenger in the vehicle was charged with accessory after the fact.
