New details have been released in the sex crimes case against WLBT meteorologist Eric Law.
According to a Madison Police Department incident report, Facebook messages between Law and the 15-year-old girl he is accused of having inappropriate contact with were turned over to an investigator with the Rankin County Sheriff's Department.
According to the report the Facebook messages indicated Law, 32, and the girl had sexual contact, and when investigators interviewed the girl, she confirmed she and Law had been intimate at Law's house in Madison.
According to the report the girl said she spent the night with Law and the two would go to the "law and order room" and engage in sexual behavior.
Law -- who is married but doesn't have children -- was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of sexual battery and two counts of gratification of lust. He was released Thursday afternoon on $200,000 bond.
Law has been a meteorologist at WLBT since 2004.
"Eric Law has been suspended until further notice," said WLBT News Director Wilson Stribling last week.
