The Jones County Fire Council, which provided this photo, say the crash happened near the overpass bridge on I-59 South at Exit 99.  Authorities say the motorist was driving a Chrysler 200 – when he hit the guard rail on the right side of the road just under the overpass.

The unidentified driver was transported to South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel – with injuries that are believed to be minor.
