Jacob Brown and Jim Stabilito Will Join Lockton to Expand Services and Continue Insurance Broker's Growth in Southwest
PHOENIX, March 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Jacob Brown and Jim Stabilito will join Lockton as senior executives in the insurance broker's fast-growing Phoenix operation. They are veteran employee benefits advisors who work with corporate clients to build benefit programs that help attract and retain employees. Lockton is the world's largest privately held insurance broker.
"Our clients face a wide range of challenging business issues because of the rising cost of employee benefits and the demands of the health reform law," said Bill Linsday, President of the Lockton employee benefit practice for Phoenix and Denver. "Jacob Brown and Jim Stabilito will bring expertise and deep experience in helping companies meet these challenges, and their arrival will help us continue our growth in the Southwest."
Jacob Brown will be named an Executive Vice President at Lockton and will be responsible for advising Lockton clients on the full range of employee benefit services including dealing with the changes under the new health reform law. He will also be responsible for new business development. He has been with Willis in the insurance broker's Phoenix operation for the past nine years, most recently as Senior Vice President and Employee Benefits Practice Leader. He has also worked at Unum, an insurance carrier. He is a University of Arizona graduate and is active in community service as a board member of the Foundation for Blind Children in Phoenix.
Jim Stabilito will be a Senior Vice President at Lockton and will provide client leadership and offer advice on employee benefit programs, dealing with health reform, and new business development. Stabilito has been with Willis in Phoenix for the past eight years and previously worked for 10 years as an account executive with Aetna, Inc. He began his employee benefits consulting career with American Corporate Health Programs. He is also active in the community, serving on the boards of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix and the Development Committee at Goodwill of Central Arizona. He holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor's degree from Penn State University.
