HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

USM's School of Music's "Sweeney Todd" was originally set to be performed on March 2; however, February's devastating tornado destroyed all hopes of the show being on campus.

Despite their set being damaged, students and teachers decided the show must go on. The dark comedy has now been moved to the Saenger Theater, and a portion of the proceeds will go to tornado relief efforts.

"Sweeney Todd" will show March 6 -7 at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are $20 for the public, and $15 for students.  To purchase tickets, you can call the USM box office at 266-5418.
