PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A robber who has repeatedly targeted two Phoenix pharmacies struck again Feb. 18, police said.

A reward of up to $1,000 has been offered for information leading to his arrest and conviction, Silent Witness officers said.

The suspect has chosen to rob pharmacies at Safeway and Albertsons stores five times since Dec. 27, police said.

Police said the suspect walks directly to the pharmacy counter, pulls out a handgun and demands oxycodone, a highly addictive painkiller.

The pharmacy employees have all complied with the suspect's demands. Once he gets the drugs, the suspect flees on foot.

The gunman has struck a grocery store pharmacy at 800 E. Glendale Ave. twice and another store at 8000 N. 19th Ave. three times. The stores are only five miles apart.

"It's possible that this suspect is hitting these stores on his way home from work on his way to work," said Darren Burch of Silent Witness. "He's hitting a very tight window and he feels very comfortable at these two locations."

Investigators said they believe the suspect most likely lives in the area, somewhere near Seventh Street and Glendale or 19th and Northern avenues.

He's described as between 25 and 30 years old. He is 5'9" to 6' tall and weighs 160 to 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark blue pullover hooded sweatshirt, black sunglasses and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the holdups is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS OR 480-TESTIGO.
