JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

A Covington County woman was arrested for allegedly busting the window out of a vehicle and stealing a large amount of money.

Alexandra Pickering, 20, was arrested after she allegedly went to the Southern Hens Plant in Moselle and broke the front window out of a vehicle which belonged to a relative.

Authorities said inside the vehicle was the victim's purse and Pickering allegedly stole money from it.

She was released on a $2500 bond.
