JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

In the days that followed after the destructive tornado that ripped through Hattiesburg, Jones County Junior College student Billy Mauldin wrote a song that he hopes will reach out to those who lost so much from the storm.  The song "Faith" tells the story of a woman who's struggling to rebuild her home.  Billy says the subject of his song is in essence the city of Hattiesburg.  Being a native of the Pine Belt, Billy says "it hurts me to see the place I love so torn a part."

Billy's song can be found at the following link:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcmw1kObhQ8
