JCJC, PRCC split series after another OT finish

POPLARVILLE, MS (WDAM) -

It's taken a collective three overtimes to decide the winners for both games between Jones County Junior College and Pearl River Community College this season. Monday night's melee needed only one extra period, and this time it was the Bobcats besting the Wildcats 76-74.

Round two did not feature the division lead hanging in the balance, but the two sides didn't seem to notice. While the road team won each contest on the men's side, the home team claimed victories on the women's side.

PRCC took down JCJC 83-71 to nab only its fourth division win of the year. The Bobcats, meanwhile, fall to 5-6 in division after the loss.
