Georgia-Pacific donates truck load of supplies

The outpouring of support from the community continues to grow following last week's tornado, and Georgia-Pacific is the latest to join in.

Christian Services of Hattiesburg received a truck load of supplies today from Georgia-Pacific. The truck contained 300 boxes of supplies, including paper plates, bathroom tissue, and paper towels. These will be distributed to families affected by the tornado.

"We have a lot of employees that live in Hattiesburg, Petal, Lamar County, and Lawrence County. We've had a history of donating to communities in need after storms," explained Jana Bryant, Public Affairs for Georgia-Pacific. "So, this really brings it home for us, and we thought it was a great time to do something."

Those needing assistance can visit Christian Services at 301 East Second Street in Hattiesburg.
