Pine Belt mayors pair up to help clean debris

In coordination with the "Mormon Helping Hands" program, Hattiesburg mayor Johnny Dupree and Petal mayor Hal Marx gathered at sunrise to help bring tornado relief to those affected by the devastating storm.

Marx and Dupree both spoke to the nearly two hundred volunteers about their gratitude for helping clean up the tornado ravaged areas.  The "Mormon Helping Hands" program brings together members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and their civic leaders to provide community service.

These volunteers in their trademark yellow shirts help people whose lives have been affected by natural disasters and other emergencies.
