HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

A Hattiesburg auto dealer is among those collecting relief items for victims of last Sunday's destructive tornado.

Vardaman Honda on Broadway Drive is taking donations of clothing, toiletries and other supplies to help storm victims get back on their feet.

Employees are taking them to Christian Services, one of the organizations lending a helping hand to victims.

Owner Robert Vardaman says they will take donations as long as needed.

"We were trying to figure out what we could do and do our part and we decided we'd be a collection point for whatever charity and we decided Bill Prout with Christian Services, he absolutely has the expertise in putting help in people's hands," said Robert Vardaman of Vardaman Honda.

Vardaman says they've already taken a couple of truckloads to Christian Services.
